The 31st Civil Support Team is a civil support team organized as a unit of the Delaware Army National Guard. The unit is headquartered at Smyrna, Delaware. Smyrna, Delaware
Smyrna is a town in Kent and New Castle counties in the U.S. state of Delaware. It is part of the Dover, Delaware Metropolitan Statistical Area. A Weapon of mass destruction Civil Support Team (WMD-CST or CST) supports civil authorities in the event of the use, or threatened use, of a weapon of mass destruction. CSTs are federally funded units established under Presidential Decision Directive 39. Delaware Army National Guard
The Delaware Army National Guard is a component of the United States Army and the United States National Guard. CBRNE
Chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear defence (CBRN defence) are protective measures taken in situations in which chemical, biological, radiological or nuclear warfare (including terrorism) hazards may be present.
