Air National Guard
The Air National Guard (ANG), also known as the Air Guard, is a Reserve components of the United States Armed Forces, federal military reserve force of the United States Air Force, as well as the air militia (United States), militia of each U.S. state, the District of Columbia Air National Guard, District of Columbia, the Puerto Rico Air National Guard, Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, and the territories of Guam Air National Guard, Guam and the Virgin Islands Air National Guard, U.S. Virgin Islands. It, along with the Army National Guard component of each state, district, commonwealth or territory, makes up the National Guard (United States), National Guard of each region as applicable. The Minute Man
''The Minute Man'' is an 1874 sculpture by Daniel Chester French in Minute Man National Historical Park, Concord, Massachusetts. It was created between 1871 and 1874 after extensive research, and was originally intended to be made of stone sculpture, stone. The medium was switched to bronze sculpture, bronze and it was cast from ten American Civil War, Civil War-era cannons appropriated by 43rd United States Congress, Congress. Yellow
Yellow is the color between green and orange on the spectrum of light. It is evoked by light with a dominant wavelength of roughly 575585 nm. It is a primary color in subtractive color systems, used in painting or color printing. In the RGB color model, used to create colors on television and computer screens, yellow is a secondary color made by combining red and green at equal intensity. Duke A. Pirak (born ) is a United States Air Force major general who serves as the deputy director of the Air National Guard. He previously served as the deputy director for politico-military affairs (Asia) of the Joint Staff. In March 2024, Pirak was nominated for promotion to lieutenant general and appointment as director of the Air National Guard. Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) was the official name used by the U.S. government for both the first stage (2001–2014) of the War in Afghanistan (2001–2021) and the larger-scale Global War on Terrorism.
