301 South College is a skyscraper in Charlotte, North Carolina and was the headquarters for Wells Fargo's east coast division, the bank left the building in early 2024. Their exit made available. Opening on September 14, 1988, it was the tallest building in North Carolina, until 1992 when it was surpassed by the Bank of America Corporate Center. Three Wells Fargo Center is a high rise in Charlotte, North Carolina. Completed in 2000, the building consists of 32 floors with of office space; it also includes an underground parking garage, an attached 10-story low-rise known as the Ratcliffe on the Green, and connects to Two Wells Fargo Center via skybridge, as part of the Overstreet Mall. WCNC-TV (channel 36) is a television station in Charlotte, North Carolina, United States, affiliated with NBC. The station is owned by Tegna Inc. WCNC-TV's studios are located in the Wood Ridge Center office complex off Billy Graham Parkway (Route 4), just east of the Billy Graham Library in south Charlotte, and its transmitter is located in north-central Gaston County. Channel 36 was established as WCTU-TV, an independent television station, in 1967. After falling into receivership brought on by severe economic hardship, WCTU was purchased by Atlanta broadcast pioneer Ted Turner. Renamed WRET-TV, the station's fortunes turned around and thrived throughout the 1970s.
