Three Wells Fargo Center is a high rise in Charlotte, North Carolina. Completed in 2000, the building consists of 32 floors with of office space; it also includes an underground parking garage, an attached 10-story low-rise known as the Ratcliffe on the Green, and connects to Two Wells Fargo Center via skybridge, as part of the Overstreet Mall. History Prior to the First Union-Wachovia merger, this building was called Three First Union Center. In December 2010, as a result of Wells Fargo's 2008 purchase of Wachovia, the building was renamed from Three Wachovia Center to Three Wells Fargo Center. The Levine Museum of the New South, is a history museum located in Charlotte, North Carolina whose exhibits explore issues relevant to the history of the greater Charlotte metro area and spark curiosity about our world today. Founded in 1991 as the Museum of the New South, it was renamed after museum patron and Family Dollar founder Leon Levine in 2001. Overview Originally opened in 2001 at Seventh and College streets, the museum's previous exhibit was called "Cotton Fields to Skyscrapers: Charlotte and the Carolina Piedmont in the New South", and featured period displays that reflected regional history. The Wells Fargo History Museum was a franchise of museums operated by Wells Fargo with its main and last museum located in its corporate headquarters in San Francisco, California. They featured exhibits about the company's history. Some of the museums' displays include original stagecoaches, photographs, gold nuggets and mining artifacts, the Pony Express, telegraphs and historic bank artifacts.
