The 21st Mechanized Brigade () is a brigade of the Ukrainian Ground Forces formed on January 21, 2023. It primarily operates Ukraine's donated Swedish Equipment. Operational Command South
The Operational Command South ( OC South, ) is a formation of the Ukrainian Ground Forces in the southern part of Ukraine, which was formed in January 1998 as the Southern Operation Command on the basis of the Odesa Military District and was headquartered in Odesa. From 2005-2013 it was known as the Southern Operation Association. In January 2007 RIA Novosti reported that destruction of ammunition would take place at the 275th artillery ammunition base (275-й артиллерийской базе боеприпасов) near the village of Novobohdanivka, Zaporizhzhia region. Until 2015 Operational Command South covered 9 oblasts and autonomous republics: Odesa, Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv, Kherson, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk oblasts and the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. Robotyne (, ) is a village in Polohy Raion, Zaporizhzhia Oblast, Ukraine. Administratively, it is part of Tokmak urban hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. The village is approximately southeast of Orikhiv, and north of Tokmak. It had a population of 480 in 2001. History 19th-20th centuries According to Yu. Chervonopopivka
Chervonopopivka () is a village in Sievierodonetsk Raion, Luhansk Oblast, Ukraine. History The village of Chervonopopivka was historically located in the Kreminna Raion which, as of 18 July 2020, was abolished and merged into the Sievierodonetsk Raion. Synkivka
Synkivka (, ) is a village in Kupiansk Raion, Kharkiv Oblast, Ukraine. During the first days of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the village was captured by Russian forces in their initial advance into the nation. After the successful 2022 Ukrainian eastern counteroffensive in September, however, the village returned to Ukrainian control. On 16 February 2023, Russian forces reportedly entered the village Lyman Pershyi to the north, making Synkivka a frontline settlement. Since then, three local Russian offensives aimed at recapturing the village took place in August, November, and December 2023.
