2025 Omloop Het Nieuwsblad
The 2025 Omloop Het Nieuwsblad was a road cycling one-day race that took place on 1 March 2025 in Belgium, starting in Gent and finishing in Ninove. It was the 80th edition of the Omloop Het Nieuwsblad and the fourth event of the 2025 UCI World Tour. The race was won by Norwegian rider Søren Wærenskjold of Uno-X Mobility in a sprint finish. 2025 UCI World Tour
The 2025 UCI World Tour is a series of races that includes thirty-six events throughout the 2025 in men's road cycling, 2025 cycling season. The tour started with the 2025 Tour Down Under, Tour Down Under on 21 January, and will conclude with the 2025 Tour of Guangxi, Tour of Guangxi on 19 October. Events The race calendar for the 2025 season was announced in June 2024, with thirty-six races scheduled. The calendar was similar to 2024 UCI World Tour, 2024, with a new one-day race in Denmark, the Copenhagen Sprint. In October 2024, the final calendar was confirmed. Teams The eighteen UCI WorldTeam, WorldTeams were automatically invited to compete in events, with the top two UCI ProTeams listed on the 2024 UCI World Ranking ( and ) also invited automatically. Uno-X Mobility (men's Team)
Uno-X Mobility is a Norwegian UCI ProTeam established in 2016, as a continuation of the earlier Team Ringeriks-Kraft. Uno-X Mobility was initially established as a cooperation between Uno-X, Ringerike Sykkelklubb and Lillehammer Cykleklubb, and had its inaugural season in 2017. The team is sponsored by fuel station chain Uno-X, which is part of the Reitan conglomerate. The team held UCI Continental status until 2020, when it upgraded to a ProTeam. In September 2018, the team launched a development program, the , which became a UCI Continental team in 2021. The team was granted a wildcard spot to compete in the 2023 Tour de France and adopted custom jerseys sponsored by REMA 1000 for the race. Uno-X was again invited to the Tour de France in 2024.
