2025 UCI World Tour
The 2025 UCI World Tour is a series of races that includes thirty-six events throughout the 2025 in men's road cycling, 2025 cycling season. The tour started with the 2025 Tour Down Under, Tour Down Under on 21 January, and will conclude with the 2025 Tour of Guangxi, Tour of Guangxi on 19 October. Events The race calendar for the 2025 season was announced in June 2024, with thirty-six races scheduled. The calendar was similar to 2024 UCI World Tour, 2024, with a new one-day race in Denmark, the Copenhagen Sprint. In October 2024, the final calendar was confirmed. Teams The eighteen UCI WorldTeam, WorldTeams were automatically invited to compete in events, with the top two UCI ProTeams listed on the 2024 UCI World Ranking ( and ) also invited automatically. UCI WorldTour
The UCI WorldTour is the premier men's elite road cycling tour, sitting above the UCI ProSeries and various regional UCI Continental Circuits. It refers to both the tour of 38 events and, until 2019, an annual ranking system based upon performances in these. The World Ranking was launched in 2009, (known from 2009–2010 as the ''UCI World Ranking'') and merged fully with its predecessor the UCI ProTour in 2011. UCI WorldTeams must compete at all events that were part of the tour prior to the 2017 expansion. Juan Ayuso Pesquera (born 16 September 2002) is a Spanish road bicycle racing, road cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . Career Early years Ayuso started cycling when he was seven or eight years old, and looked up to Alberto Contador. In 2017, he won the gold medal in the road race and the time trial at the Spanish Cadet Road Championships (15 to 16 years old), and defended his time trial title the following year. Thymen Arensman
Thymen Arensman (born 4 December 1999) is a Dutch cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . A strong climber and time trialist, Arensman won the 15th stage of the 2022 Vuelta a España in a solo victory. That same season, he also won the stage six time trial, going on to finish second overall in the Tour de Pologne. Florian Lipowitz
Florian Lipowitz (born 21 September 2000) is a German racing cyclist racing for UCI WorldTeam . Career In 2021 Lipowitz was part of the team that sent to the 2021 Adriatica Ionica Race. After finishing thirteenth in the second stage, 2:03 down on the winner, he held onto his position in the Overall to finish thirteenth Overall and fourth in the youth classification. Lipowitz joined UCI WorldTeam as a Stagiaire from August to the end of 2022 before joining the team on a two-year contract. He took his first professional victory in 2023, winning the overall title as well as stage two and the points classification of the Czech Tour. Matteo Jorgenson ( ; born July 1, 1999) is an American professional cyclist who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . Known for his prowess in the mountains, he is the two-time defending winner of Paris–Nice. Jorgenson was born in Walnut Creek, California, grew up in Boise, Idaho and credits BYRDS (Boise Young Rider Development Squad) for his start in cycling. The 2025 Strade Bianche was a road cycling one-day race that took place on 8 March 2025 in Tuscany, Italy. It was the 19th edition of the Strade Bianche and the fifth event of the 2025 UCI World Tour.
