2025 Millrose Games
The 2025 Millrose Games was the 117th edition of the annual indoor track and field meeting in New York City. Held on 8 February at the Fort Washington Armory in Upper Manhattan, it was the sixth leg of the 2025 World Athletics Indoor Tour Gold series – the highest-level international indoor track and field circuit. Highlights Two world indoor records were set at the meeting. In the men's 3000 meters, Grant Fisher broke Lamecha Girma's world indoor record of 7:23.81, running 7:22.91. Running against Fisher was Cole Hocker, who took the lead with three laps to go, but was out-kicked by Fisher in the final straightaway. Hocker ran 7:23.14, the second-fastest indoor time in history and also under the previous world indoor record. The second world indoor record came in the men's Wanamaker Mile, where Yared Nuguse broke Yomif Kejelcha's world indoor record of 3:47.01, running 3:46.63. Cameron Myers
Cameron Myers (born 9 June 2006) is an Australian track and field athlete. In 2023, he broke the world record for the fastest mile by a sixteen year-old, and became the second youngest person in the world to ever have run a sub-four minute mile. At the age of sixteen, he took the Australian national under-20 mile record. Myers broke Jakob Ingebrigtsen's mile, 1500m and 3000m age-group records. In January 2025, he set a new world under-20 indoor record in the mile. Early life From Canberra, Myers graduated from Lake Ginnindera College in 2024. From aged 10 he trained with Lee Bobbin. At age 14, Bobbin started training Myers with Dick Telford and his elite group including Olympic 1500-metre runner Jye Edwards. He also runs for the Bankstown Track Club in Sydney. Grace Stark
Grace Stark (born May 6, 2001) is an American hurdler. She was fifth in the 100m hurdles at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Early life From White Lake, Michigan, she attended Lakeland High School. As a junior in 2018, she won MHSAA Division 1 state championship titles over 100 metres and 100 metres hurdles. In the hurdles she ran the fastest time ever recorded by a Michigan high school athlete. She attended the University of Florida. Career Stark won the NCAA Indoor 60m hurdles title in 2022, having run a personal best 7.83 seconds in the heats and lowering it to 7.78 in the final. Masai Russell ( ; born June 17, 2000) is an American track and field sprinter and hurdler. She won the gold medal at the 2024 Summer Olympics in the 100 m hurdles event. Russell is the U.S. NCAA Record holder in the 100 m hurdles. Mary Cain (athlete)
Mary Cecilia Cain (born May 3, 1996) is an American-born Irish professional middle distance runner from Bronxville, New York. Cain was the 2014 World Junior Champion in the 3000 meter event. She is the youngest American athlete ever to represent the United States at a track and field World Championships meet after competing in the 2013 World Championships in Athletics in Moscow aged 17 years and 3 months. Cooper Lutkenhaus (born December 19, 2008) is an American track and field athlete who specializes in the 800 meters. He holds the high school record in this event outdoors and indoors, with times of 1:45.45 and 1:46.86 respectively, both set in 2025. Josh Hoey (born November 1, 1999) is an American track and field athlete. He is the 2025 world indoor champion in the 800 meters, and the American record holder in the short track 800 meters and 1000 meters, with times of 1:43.24 and 2:14.48 respectively.
