2025 Kentucky Wildcats Baseball Team
The 2025 Kentucky Wildcats baseball team represents the University of Kentucky in the 2025 NCAA Division I baseball season. The Wildcats play their home games at Kentucky Proud Park. Previous season The Wildcats finished 46–16, 22–8 in the SEC to tie for the SEC regular season championship. They lost to South Carolina in the SEC tournament. The Wildcats then competed in the NCAA tournament, winning the Lexington Regional and the Lexington Super Regional earning the program's first ever trip to the College World Series in Omaha. They went 1–2 in the CWS before being eliminated. Nick Mingione
Nick Mingione (born September 10, 1978) is an American college baseball coach and former outfielder who is the current head coach for the Kentucky Wildcats baseball, Kentucky Wildcats. He played college baseball at Embry–Riddle University for coach Greg Guilliams from 1997 to 2000. Playing career Mingione played his college career at Embry–Riddle University. He graduated from ERU in 2000 with a degree in aerospace studies. Coaching career Kentucky After serving as an assistant college coach for 13 seasons, Mingione was named head coach of Kentucky for the 2017 season. In his first season as a head coach, he was named Southeastern Conference, SEC Coach of the Year. He also led Kentucky to its first regional win and first super regional appearance in the program's history. The 2025 Evansville Purple Aces baseball team represents the University of Evansville during the 2025 NCAA Division I baseball season. The Purple Aces play their home games at Charles H. Braun Stadium. Previous season The Purple Aces finished the 2024 season with a trip to the NCAA Knoxville Super Regional, winning one out of three games before being eliminated. Jim Patterson Stadium is a baseball stadium in Louisville, Kentucky. It is the home field of the University of Louisville Cardinals college baseball team. Since opening in 2005, Jim Patterson Stadium has hosted nine NCAA regionals and six NCAA Super Regionals. The Cardinals played their home games at Jim Patterson Stadium as a member of the Atlantic Coast Conference. They were led by head coach Dan McDonnell, in his 19th year at Louisville. For the first time since 2022, Louisville received a bid to play in the NCAA Tournament. Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park is a baseball stadium in College Station, Texas, that is home to the Texas A&M baseball program. The stadium was dedicated on March 21, 1978, and is named in honor of C. E. "Pat" Olsen, a 1923 graduate of Texas A&M University and a former baseball player in the New York Yankees minor league system.
