2025 Herculis
The 2025 Herculis was the 39th edition of the annual outdoor track and field meeting in Monaco. It was held on 11 July at Stade Louis II, it was the tenth leg of the 2025 Diamond League – the highest level international track and field circuit. Diamond+ results Starting in 2025 a new discipline of events was added called Diamond+, these 4 events per meet awarded athletes with increased prize money whilst keeping the standard points format to qualify for the Diamond league finals. First place earns 8 points, with each step down in place earning one less point than the previous, until no points are awarded in 9th place or lower. In the case of a tie, each tying athlete earns the full amount of points for the place. Stade Louis II
The Stade Louis II (, ), or simply Louis II is a stadium located in the Fontvieille district of Monaco, near the border with Cap-d'Ail commune of France. It serves primarily as a venue for Athletics and football, being the home of AS Monaco. The stadium is most notable for its distinctive nine arches at the away end of the ground. The arena is also used for the Herculis, a track and field meet of the Diamond League. The stadium hosted the 1986 and 1998–2012 UEFA Super Cup matches. Due to Monaco's small size, the stadium is the only football and athletics stadium in the country. History The original Stade Louis II was opened in 1939 as the home of AS Monaco. Alia Armstrong (born 28 December 2000) is an American track and field athlete. While running for Louisiana State University, Armstrong initially had a hard time in 2022 when she was disqualified from the SEC indoor championships and disqualified again at the NCAA indoor finals. In June 2022, however, Armstrong won the outdoor NCAA championship in Eugene, Oregon over 100 meters hurdles running a new personal best 12.55 in the semi-finals, and then 12.57 in the final. Armstrong then finished third in the senior 2022 USATF championship, after running a personal best 12.47 seconds in the final, also held in Eugene, Oregon. Grace Stark
Grace Stark (born May 6, 2001) is an American hurdler. She was fifth in the 100m hurdles at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Early life From White Lake, Michigan, she attended Lakeland High School. As a junior in 2018, she won MHSAA Division 1 state championship titles over 100 metres and 100 metres hurdles. In the hurdles she ran the fastest time ever recorded by a Michigan high school athlete. She attended the University of Florida. Career Stark won the NCAA Indoor 60m hurdles title in 2022, having run a personal best 7.83 seconds in the heats and lowering it to 7.78 in the final. Masai Russell ( ; born June 17, 2000) is an American track and field sprinter and hurdler. She won the gold medal at the 2024 Summer Olympics in the 100 m hurdles event. Russell is the U.S. NCAA Record holder in the 100 m hurdles. Megan Tapper (née Simmonds; born 18 March 1994) is a Jamaican athlete competing in the sprint hurdles. She represented her country at the 2016 Summer Olympics reaching the semifinals.
