The 2025 FIM MotoGP World Championship is the premier class of the 77th Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) Road Racing World Championship season, the highest level of competition in motorcycle road racing. Season summary The first nine rounds of the season began with strong results for brothers Marc and Alex Márquez, who shared the top two podium positions in each of the first nine sprint races. Marc Márquez took five of the Grand Prix wins (Thailand, Argentina, Qatar, Aragon and Italy), while his teammate Francesco Bagnaia(Americas), brother Alex Márquez (Spain), Johann Zarco (France) and Marco Bezzechi (UK) took one Grand Prix victory each. The International Motorcycling Federation (Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme) or (FIM) is the global governing/sanctioning body of motorcycle racing. It represents 123 national motorcycle federations that are divided into six continental unions. is a Japanese Grand Prix motorcycle racer who competes in MotoGP for Trackhouse MotoGP Team. He was recently crowned 2024 Moto2 World Champion with MT Helmets – MSi, being the first Japanese rider to win a world championship in fifteen years since Hiroshi Aoyama in 2009.
