2025 Diamond League
The 2025 Diamond League is the sixteenth season of the annual series of outdoor track and field meetings, organised by World Athletics. The competition is a revision to the top level athletics series since Diamond League foundation in 2010. The number of Diamond Discipline events is 32. Each meeting will host a number of Diamond Discipline events and some of these events will not be broadcast. Events losing Diamond Discipline status will feature on the World Athletics Continental Tour, the second tier of track and field meetings. Starting in 2025 each meeting will nominate 4 events (2 male and 2 female) to be Diamond+ Disciplines, these events will have increased levels of prize money this will mean at regular meetings a doubling of the 1st place prize from $10,000 to $20,000 and at the Diamond League Finals an increase to $50,000. 2025 BAUHAUS-galan
The 2025 BAUHAUS-galan was the 59th edition of the annual outdoor track and field meeting in Stockholm, Sweden. Held on 14 and 15 June 2025 at Stockholm Olympic Stadium, it was the seventh leg of the 2025 Diamond League – the highest level international track and field circuit. Diamond+ event results Starting in 2025 a new discipline of events was added called Diamond+, these 4 events per meet awarded athletes with increased prize money whilst keeping the standard points format to qualify for the Diamond league finals. First place earns 8 points, with each step down in place earning one less point than the previous, until no points are awarded in 9th place or lower. In the case of a tie, each tying athlete earns the full amount of points for the place. Bislett Games
The Bislett Games is an annual track and field meeting at the Bislett Stadium in Oslo, Norway. Previously one of the IAAF Golden League events, it is now part of the Diamond League. History The first international athletics meeting at Bislett was held in 1924. Until 1937 the competitions are known as "The American Meetings", similar to the Weltklasse Zürich#History, international meetings in Zürich. Different organizers staged the meetings between 1947 and 1965 until the three athletics associations BUL, Vidar and Tjalve formed the Bislett Alliance. At this year Arne Haukvik founded the Bislett Games. He was a former politician and director of the meeting, who used to invite the athletes, sponsors and the press to his home for his traditional "strawberry party" the day before the event each year. Stadio Olimpico (; ), colloquially known as l'Olimpico (The Olympic), is an Italian multi-purpose sports venue located in Rome. Golden Gala
Golden Gala is an annual Track and field, track and field event normally held at the Stadio Olimpico, Olympic Stadium in Rome, Italy. Previously one of the IAAF Golden League events, it is now part of the Diamond League. Following the 2013 death of Italian sprinting legend Pietro Mennea, the organizers added his name to the title of the meet. The 2021 and 2023 events were temporarily relocated to Florence. History Primo Nebiolo, the Italian president of World Athletics, IAAF since 1981, was the founder of the Golden Gala and had the idea to bring the athletes and the people from the United States and the NATO countries together after their boycott of the 1980 Summer Olympics, Moscow Olympics in 1980 as a result of the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan. Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium (, , ) is a football stadium under construction, it is part of a larger sports complex with an athletics track and field stadium, an indoor arena named the Salle Moulay Abdellah and an Olympic swimming pool in Rabat, Morocco. It was named after Prince Moulay Abdellah of Morocco and was planned to be completed in 2025. The stadium is located 7km from the center of Rabat, the country's capital. The Meeting International Mohammed VI d'Athlétisme de Rabat is an annual track and field competition at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat, Morocco as part of the IAAF World Challenge Meetings.
