2025 Asian Tour
The 2025 Asian Tour will be the 30th season of the modern Asian Tour (formerly the Asian PGA Tour), the main professional golf tour in Asia (outside of Japan) since it was established in 1995. Changes for 2025 In October 2024, it was confirmed that the Philippine Open (golf), Philippine Open would return to the Asian Tour schedule for the first time since 2015. In December, it was also confirmed that the International Series (golf), International Series would venture into India for the first time. The initial schedule was released later in December 2024. 2024 Asian Tour
The 2024 Asian Tour was the 29th season of the modern Asian Tour (formerly the Asian PGA Tour), the main professional golf tour in Asia (outside of Japan) since it was established in 1995. Changes for 2024 New tournaments for the 2024 season included the International Series Macau and the Black Mountain Championship. Additionally, in February 2024, it was confirmed that a new tournament in a new continent to the Asian Tour, would be added to the schedule; the Karen Classic to be played in August at Karen Country Club in Kenya. However, the tournament was later removed from the schedule and did not take place. The DGC Open and the World City Championship from the 2023 schedule were dropped for the 2024 season. It has been an Asian Tour event since 2016, as well as being part of the schedule in 2001 and 2002. The Indonesia Open is the national open golf championship of Indonesia, and traditionally held in the capital, Jakarta. History The Indonesia Open was founded in 1974 as an event on the Asia Golf Circuit. It remained on the circuit until the end of the 1996 season, after which it joined the rival Asian PGA's Omega Tour for the 1997 season. Having not been held between 1998 and 2004, the Indonesian Open returned in 2005 as a co-sanctioned event on both the Asian Tour and the European Tour. Scott Nicholas Vincent (born 20 May 1992) is a Zimbabwean professional golfer who plays on the Japan Golf Tour, Asian Tour and LIV Golf. He has won three times on the Japan Golf Tour. In 2022 he won the International Series England on the Asian Tour, as well as the International Series Order of Merit. He represented Zimbabwe in the 2018 World Cup of Golf and the 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympics, being the first Zimbabwean golfer to do so. Professional career Vincent turned professional in 2015. Kolon Korea Open
The Kolon Korea Open, as it is currently known for sponsorship reasons, is a men's professional golf tournament that has been held annually in South Korea since 1958. The Korea Open was an event on the Asia Golf Circuit from 1970 until 1981. The Maekyung Open was founded in 1982 to replace it on the circuit, which allowed rescheduling of the Korea Open to later in the year. It became a stop on the Asian Tour from 1998 to 2008, except for 2005, and then part of the OneAsia Tour schedule from 2009 to 2017, before returning to the Asian Tour in 2018. In 2019, the total purse is KRW1,200,000,000 with KRW300,000,000 to the winner. The event has been played at Woo Jeong Hills since 2003. Lucas Herbert (born 5 December 1995) is an Australian professional golfer. He has won three times on the European Tour and once on the PGA Tour, the 2021 Butterfield Bermuda Championship.
