2024–25 UAE Pro League
The 2024–25 UAE Pro League (also known as ADNOC Pro League for sponsorship reasons) was the 50th edition of the UAE Pro League. Al Wasl were the defending champions. Personnel and kits Note: Flags indicate national team as has been defined under FIFA eligibility rules. Players may hold more than one non-FIFA nationality. Foreign players All clubs can register foreigners as many as they want but can only include five professionals in each team rosters. The UAE Pro League (), also known as the ADNOC Pro League for sponsorship reasons, is a professional association football league in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the highest level of the Emirati football league system. The first team to win the title was Al Orouba (Sharjah), whilst Al Ain has the record with 14 league titles to their name. Fourteen clubs compete in the league that operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the First Division League. The League was founded in 1973 as the UAE Football League. The first 1973–74 season was a "trial" championship but was declared official by the UAE FA in 2001. In February 2007, the Pro League Committee was formed, and became the organising body of the league. Ajman Football Club (Arabic: نادي عجمان), simply Ajman Club or Ajman FC, is an Emirati professional football club based in Ajman. In 2015, Ajman was relegated to the second division, but managed to climb back to the top flight in 2017. Hussein Ammouta
Hussein Ammouta (; born 24 October 1969), also written as Houcine Ammouta, is a Moroccan professional football manager and former player, who is the manager of Al Jazira. As a former midfielder, Ammouta spent his entire playing career in the Middle East and Africa, namely IZ Khemisset, Fath Union Sport, Al-Riyadh, Al Sadd, Sharjah and Qatar SC. As a Moroccan international, he was capped on 5 occasions, he also competed in the 1992 Summer Olympics with his nation. As a manager, Ammouta began his career coaching a local team named Zemmouris. Al Jazira Club () is an Emirati professional football club based in Abu Dhabi, that currently competes in the UAE Pro League. Farhad Majidi (; born 3 June 1976) is an Iranian football coach and former player who most recently managed Al Bataeh Club. He mostly played as attacking midfielder for Esteghlal when he was a football player. He scored 2 important goal for AlAin at 2002–03 AFC Champions League Club career Having played for Esteghlal Tehran for several seasons, Majidi's performance attracted Rapid Vienna to recruit him for one season.
