The 2024 NFL season, 2024 season was the Washington Commanders' 93rd in the National Football League (NFL). NFC East
The National Football Conference – Eastern Division or NFC East is one of the four divisions of the National Football Conference (NFC) in the National Football League (NFL). Frankie Luvu (born September 19, 1996) is an American football linebacker for the Carolina Panthers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Washington State. Luvu was signed by the New York Jets as an undrafted free agent in 2018. Professional career New York Jets Luvu was signed by the New York Jets as an undrafted free agent on May 4, 2018. Sam Howell (born September 16, 2000) is an American football quarterback for the Washington Commanders of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at North Carolina, setting school records for most touchdown passes in a single season (38) as well as career passing yards (10,283) and touchdown passes (92). 2005 Washington Redskins Season
The 2005 season was the Washington Redskins' 74th in the National Football League and the second season under head coach Joe Gibbs. The team improved on their 6–10 record from 2004 and finished 10–6. The Redskins placed 2nd in the NFC East. Washington earned their first playoff berth since 1999. In their return to the postseason, the Redskins defeated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the opening round, but a loss to the Seattle Seahawks the following week ended their season. 1991 Washington Redskins Season
The 1991 season was the Washington Redskins' 60th in the National Football League (NFL), their 55th representing Washington, D.C. and the eleventh under head coach Joe Gibbs. The Redskins were coming off two consecutive 10–6 seasons and looking to return to the playoffs for a second straight season. Not only did the Redskins improve their position, but they also put together a season that is considered by some to be one of the best any team has ever played. Washington won a franchise record-tying 14 games, the best record in the league, and their two losses (to two of their division rivals) were by a combined five points.
