2024 Premier Volleyball League Invitational Conference
The 2024 Premier Volleyball League Invitational Conference was the nineteenth conference of the Premier Volleyball League and its tenth conference as a professional league. This was the third and last conference for the 2024 season. Unlike the previous iterations of the league, this conference was a short pocket tournament, lasting about nine days, making it the shortest conference in the league. The conference started on September 4, 2024, coinciding with the finals of the 2024 Premier Volleyball League Reinforced Conference. Originally, the semifinalists of the 2024 Premier Volleyball League Reinforced Conference are qualified and will be able to play alongside two foreign guest teams — the reigning Invitational champions, Kurashiki Ablaze of Japan, and the newcomers, Est Cola of Thailand. One Sports (stylized in all lowercase) is a Philippine free-to-air television network owned by Nation Broadcasting Corporation (NBC) and jointly operated by TV5 Network, Inc., both subsidiaries of MediaQuest Holdings, Inc. media arm of PLDT Beneficial Trust Fund. One Sports is currently carried through analog via DWNB UHF TV Channel 41 in Metro Manila and other relay and affiliate stations nationwide, and as a digital television subchannel in select areas of the country. The Chery Tiggo Crossovers are a Filipino professional women's volleyball team competing in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL). The team is owned by United Asia Automotive Group, Inc. (UAAGI) and is named after the Chery Tiggo crossover SUVs. They have won one championship, the 2021 PVL Open Conference. History The team debuted in the Philippine Super Liga, Philippine Superliga (PSL) during the 2014 PSL Grand Prix Conference, 2014 Grand Prix as the original Foton Tornadoes. Louie Romero (born July 5, 2000) is a Filipino volleyball player. She is currently playing as a setter for the Farm Fresh Foxies in the Premier Volleyball League. Career Romero made her first game appearance with Adamson Lady Falcons in the 2019 PVL Collegiate Conference where her team won the title against UST. She was awarded ''Most Valuable Player (Finals)'' in that season. She made her first game appearance in the UAAP in 2020 where she became the Rookie-Captain of the Adamson Lady Falcons. Later on, the league was cancelled because of the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2022, the UAAP came back after the league had been canceled for 2 years because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Zus Coffee Thunderbelles (stylized as ZUS Coffee) are a professional women's volleyball team in the Philippines competing in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL). The team is owned by Strong Group Athletics, founded by Frank Lao, who has a stake in the Malaysian-based coffee chain Zus Coffee. Sherwin Meneses (born July 20, 1982) is a Filipino volleyball coach. He is a ten-time champion in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL), seven times as the head coach of the Creamline Cool Smashers. He is also the head coach of the NU Lady Bulldogs, who captured their second straight title in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) in May 2025.
