2024 Oklahoma Sooners Football Team
The 2024 Oklahoma Sooners football team will represent the University of Oklahoma in the Southeastern Conference (SEC) during the 2024 NCAA Division I FBS football season, the 130th season for the Oklahoma Sooners. They will be led by third-year head coach Brent Venables and will play their home games at Gaylord Family Oklahoma Memorial Stadium in Norman, Oklahoma. The Virginia Tech Hokies football team represents Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in the sport of American football. The NC State Wolfpack football team represents North Carolina State University in the sport of American football. Reggie Grimes II (born May 6, 2002) is an American football defensive end who plays for the University of Memphis Tigers football team. Prior that that he played for the Oklahoma Sooners. Early life and high school Grimes grew up in Antioch, Tennessee and initially attended Mount Juliet High School. He transferred to Ravenwood High School prior to his senior year after his father was hired to teach and coach football at the school. Dillon Gabriel (born December 28, 2000) is an American football quarterback for the Oklahoma Sooners. Gabriel attended and played high school football at Mililani High School in Mililani, Hawaii and began his college career at UCF in 2019 before transferring to Oklahoma in 2022.
