2024 Australia Cup Final
The 2024 Australia Cup Final was an association football match played between A-League Men sides Melbourne Victory FC, Melbourne Victory and Macarthur FC at Melbourne Rectangular Stadium, AAMI Park in Melbourne on 29 September 2024 to determine the winners of the 2024 Australia Cup. It was the ninth Australia Cup final and the 42nd final of Australian soccer's primary cup competitions. It was the first FFA Cup/Australia Cup final to be played in September. The 2024 Australia Cup final's crowd of 13,289 is the lowest ever crowd for an Australia Cup final. 2024 Australia Cup
The 2024 Australia Cup was the eleventh season of the Australia Cup, the main national association football, soccer single-elimination tournament, knockout cup competition in Australia. This edition was the third under the new name of the "Australia Cup" following the renaming of Football Federation Australia to Football Australia. Thirty-two teams contested the competition proper. Sydney FC were the defending champions, but were eliminated by Oakleigh Cannons FC, Oakleigh Cannons in the #Round of 32, Round of 32. Nathan Luke Brattan (born 8 March 1990) is an Australian professional football player who plays as a defensive midfielder for Macarthur FC and the Australia national team. Ryan Graham Pun Teague (born 24 January 2002) is an Australian professional soccer player who plays as a defensive midfielder for A-League club Melbourne Victory and the Australia men's national team. Bruno Fornaroli Mezza (; born 7 September 1987) is a professional soccer player who plays as a forward or attacking midfielder for Melbourne Victory. Born in Uruguay, he plays for the Australia national team. Club career Nacional Fornaroli was born in Salto, in northwestern Uruguay to an Italian-Uruguayan family.
