Jordi Valadon
Jordi Francis Valadon (born 4 March 2003) is an Australian professional soccer player who plays as a defensive midfielder for A-League Men club Melbourne Victory. Early life Raised in Melbourne, Victoria, Valadon played youth football for Box Hill United and Melbourne City. He attended Mazenod College, located in Mulgrave, where he also played and captained the school football team. Valadon grew up supporting Melbourne Victory. Club career Melbourne City After playing regularly in the academy, Valadon was registered into the National Premier Leagues and A-League Youth squads for Melbourne City Youth. He finished with three goals and three assists for City in the 2022 National Premier Leagues Victoria 3 as his side achieved automatic promotion. Melbourne Victory Football Club is an Australian professional soccer club based in Melbourne, Victoria. A-League Youth
A-League Youth, formerly known as the National Youth League and Y-League, is an Australian national soccer youth developmental and under-21s league, founded by Football Federation Australia and now run by the Australian Professional Leagues. The current league was established as a successor to the previous competition of the National Youth League (1984–2004) and commenced in August 2008. The league runs in conjunction with the A-League Men as a developmental or reserve league. The league, as well as the A-League Men and A-League Women are administered by the Australian Professional Leagues. In 2020 it was contested by ten teams, all of which competed in the A-League. 2024 WAFF U-23 Championship
The 2024 WAFF U-23 Championship was the fifth edition of the WAFF U-23 Championship, the international age-restricted football championship organized by the West Asian Football Federation (WAFF) for the men's under-23 national teams of West Asia. Eight teams competed in the tournament, with four WAFF teams and four other invitees. Iraq were the defending champions, but they were eliminated from the tournament at the group stages. Joe Palatsides (born 7 July 1965) is a Greek Australian association football, soccer manager and former player. He is the head coach of the Melbourne Victory FC Youth.
