The 2023–24 season is PFC CSKA Sofia, CSKA Sofia's 75th season in the First Professional Football League (Bulgaria), Parva Liga (the top flight of Football in Bulgaria, Bulgarian football) and their eighth consecutive participation after their administrative relegation in the third division due to mounting financial troubles. In addition to the 2023–24 First Professional Football League (Bulgaria), domestic league, CSKA Sofia participates in this season's edition of the 2023–24 Bulgarian Cup, Bulgarian Cup and 2023–24 UEFA Europa Conference League, UEFA Europa Conference League. Hristiyan Ivaylov Petrov (; born 24 June 2002) is a Bulgarian professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Eredivisie club Heerenveen and the Bulgaria national team. Career Petrov joined CSKA Sofia from the Lokomotiv Plovdiv academy in 2017, signing his first professional contract with CSKA on 23 June 2020. Ivan Georgiev Turitsov (; born 18 July 1999) is a Bulgarian professional footballer who plays as a defender for CSKA Sofia. Career After progressing through the youth system at Litex Lovech, Turitsov joined CSKA Sofia's academy in July 2016, aged 17. In April 2017, after impressing with the U19 squad, he was promoted to the CSKA Sofia II. Thibaut Vion (born 11 December 1993) is a French professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for Bulgarian First League club CSKA Sofia.
