Hristiyan Petrov
Hristiyan Ivaylov Petrov (; born 24 June 2002) is a Bulgarian professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Eredivisie club Heerenveen and the Bulgaria national team. Career Petrov joined CSKA Sofia from the Lokomotiv Plovdiv academy in 2017, signing his first professional contract with CSKA on 23 June 2020. He made his professional league debut for the club on 22 August 2021. Petrov debuted in the UEFA Europa Conference League on 4 August 2022 against St Patrick's Athletic. At the end of December 2022, Petrov extended his contract for another three years. His team chose him as the best youngster that same year. On 5 September 2022, Petrov received his first call-up for the Bulgaria national football team for UEFA Nations League matches against Gibraltar and North Macedonia on 23 September. The 2020–21 Second League was the 65th season of the Second League, the second tier of the Bulgarian football league system, and the 5th season under this name and current league structure. It was delayed by two weeks due to the COVID-19 situation in Bulgaria, which saw footballers from a number of the participating teams testing positive for COVID-19 in July 2020, with Minyor Pernik especially affected. The Bulgarian Second Professional Football League (), also known as Second League () or Vtora liga, is the second level of the Bulgarian football league system, below First Professional Football League (Bulgaria), First League and above the Third Amateur Football League (Bulgaria), Third League. Twenty teams take part in the league, each playing twice against all the other, once home and once away. Most matches are played on Saturdays and Sundays. The 2019–20 Second League was the 64th season of the Second League, the second tier of the Bulgarian football league system, and the 4th season under this name and current league structure. The season began in July 2019 and ended in May 2020, but without playing all the scheduled games. Yanis Danielov Karabelyov (; born 23 January 1996) is a Bulgarian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Serbian club Partizan and the Bulgarian national team. Dimo Nikolaev Krastev (; born 10 February 2003) is a Bulgarian professional footballer who plays as a defender or midfielder for Italian club Fiorentina. He also plays for the Bulgaria national team.
