2023–24 Iraq FA Cup
The 2023–24 Iraq FA Cup was the 34th edition of the Iraqi knockout football cup as a club competition, the main domestic cup in Iraqi football. 42 clubs from the top two tiers of the Iraqi football league system participated in the competition. The tournament began on 26 January 2024 with the first round between Iraqi Premier Division League clubs and the lower-placed Iraq Stars League clubs, before the top six Iraq Stars League clubs entered the competition in the Round of 16. The final was played on 10 July 2024 at Al-Shaab Stadium in Baghdad. The winners of the competition were Al-Shorta, who won their first title with a 1–0 victory over Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya. Iraq FA Cup
The Iraq Cup (), commonly known as the Iraq FA Cup, is an annual Single-elimination tournament, knockout association football, football competition in men's domestic Football in Iraq, Iraqi football organised by the Iraq Football Association. First held in the 1948–49 season for clubs and institutions, it returned in the 1975–76 season as a clubs-only competition. The tournament usually begins with several rounds played between lower division clubs, twelve of which advance to the Round of 32, where the Iraq Stars League clubs are entered. This is followed by the Round of 16, the quarter-finals, the semi-finals and the final which is played as a single leg in Baghdad. The winners of the competition are awarded a place in the next season's AFC Champions League Two group stage. Al-Naft SC
Al Naft Sports Club () is an Iraqi professional sports club based in the Adhamiyah District, East Districts of the Tigris River, Baghdad. Their football team plays in the highest division in Iraq which is the Iraq Stars League, which they have never been relegated from. History Al-Naft Sports Club was established in 1979 by the Ministry of Oil, and was officially registered in the Ministry of Youth and Sports in 1982. In the 1985 season the team played in the Iraqi Premier League for the first time, and finished in the penultimate position that season, and have remained in the Premier League since then. Al-Etisalat SC
Al-Etisalat Sports Club (''The Communications'', ), is an Iraqi football team based in Baghdad was called Al-Bareed before season 2009/10. They play in the Iraqi Premier League. The Al-Bareed team was founded in 1963, and was merged with Al-Minaa for the 1974–75 season to form Al-Muwasalat. After the season ended, Al-Muwasalat was dissolved and Al-Minaa were reinstated in their place, meanwhile Al-Bareed was consigned to competing in non- IFA competitions as it was an institute-representative team and not a club. Al-Mina'a Sports Club () is an Iraqi multi-sport club based in Al Maqal, Al-Maqal, Basra that participates in the Iraq Stars League, the top tier of Football in Iraq, Iraqi football. It is one of the most popular clubs in Iraq, particularly in the south, and became the first club outside Baghdad to win the Iraqi Premier League.
