The 2023–24 EuroCup Basketball season was the 22nd season of Euroleague Basketball's secondary level professional club basketball tournament. It was the 16th season since it was renamed from the ULEB Cup to the EuroCup, and the first season under the new title sponsorship name of BKT The season began on 3 October 2023 and will end at the latest on 17 April 2024 with the Finals. Dreamland Gran Canaria were the defending champions after refusing to take part in the 2023–24 EuroLeague via spot granted to the title holders, but were eliminated in eighthfinals. Paris Basketball swept Mincidelice JL Bourg to achieve its first continental crown by winning its first EuroCup title in an almost perfect season with 22 wins and only one loss balance that earned it the right to secure a spot in the 2024–25 EuroLeague. EuroCup Basketball
EuroCup Basketball, commonly known as the EuroCup and currently called BKT EuroCup for sponsorship reasons, is an annual professional basketball club competition organized by Euroleague Basketball. The league is regarded as Euroleague Basketball's second-tier professional basketball club tournament. Founded as ULEB Cup in 2002, the competition lasted until 2008 when a new competition was introduced after an agreement between ULEB and FIBA under the name of ''EuroCup'' for the 2008–09 Eurocup Basketball, 2008–09 season, following a change in format. Given that the FIBA EuroChallenge was known as EuroCup until 2008, a new era of stronger cooperation between ULEB and FIBA Europe was set in 2008. Ratiopharm Ulm, officially stylized as ratiopharm ulm, is a professional basketball club based in Ulm, Germany. The club has two teams, one professional team, which plays in the Basketball Bundesliga (BBL), the major German professional league and one youth team, which plays in the NBBL (Nachwuchs Basketball-Bundesliga). The 2020–21 EuroCup Basketball season was the 19th season of Euroleague Basketball's secondary level professional club basketball tournament. It was the 13th season since it was renamed from the ULEB Cup to the EuroCup, and the fifth season under the title sponsorship name of 7DAYS. Team allocation A total of 24 teams from 10 leagues participate in the 2020–21 EuroCup Basketball. In response to the premature ending of the previous season caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the eight teams that qualified for the quarterfinals were awarded with guaranteed spots. AS Monaco Basket, commonly referred to as AS Monaco or simply Monaco, is a French-registered Monaco-based professional basketball club. They are a part of the Monaco-based multi-sports club of A.S. European Professional Club Basketball System
Professional men's basketball clubs in Europe can compete in a number of different competitions, including national leagues, regional (multi-national) leagues, and continental competitions. It is therefore possible for clubs from some countries to take part in several levels of competition in the same season. The 2022–23 EuroCup Basketball season was the 21st season of Euroleague Basketball's secondary level professional club basketball tournament. It is the 15th season since it was renamed from the ULEB Cup to the EuroCup, and the seventh and final season under the title sponsorship name of 7DAYS. The season began on 11 October 2022 and ended 3 May 2023. Gran Canaria defeated Türk Telekom in the final, which was played at the Gran Canaria Arena in Las Palmas, to win their first EuroCup title. As winners, Gran Canaria automatically qualified for the 2023–24 EuroLeague. However, Gran Canaria gave up their spot in the league due to financial reasons. The defending champions were Virtus Bologna, who were unable to defend their title as they played in the 2022–23 EuroLeague.
