The 2023 U.S. Classic, known as the 2023 Core Hydration Classic for sponsorship purposes, was the 39th edition of the U.S. Classic gymnastics competition. The event was held on August 4–6, 2023 at the Now Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. Now Arena
The Now Arena (originally known as the Sears Centre, Sears Centre Arena and stylized as NOW Arena) is a multi-purpose arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, a northwest suburb from Chicago, near land which formerly contained the Poplar Creek Music Theater. Since 2016, the arena has been home to the Windy City Bulls, the Chicago Bulls' affiliate in the NBA G League. History The venue was a joint venture between Sears Holdings, Ryan Companies, and the Village of Hoffman Estates. The project began in 1998; however, plans were not finalized until 2005. Construction began in July 2005. The venue opened as Sears Centre on October 26, 2006, with performances by Duran Duran and Bob Dylan. In 2011, the Village of Hoffman Estates took over ownership of the arena after Ryan Companies walked away from the arena due to the arena's lack of success. Lailah ( Heb. לַיְלָה, ''Laylāh;'' Meaning: "Night") is an angel in some interpretations in the Talmud and in some later Jewish mythology, associated with the night, as well as conception and pregnancy. Donnell Whittenburg
Donnell Whittenburg (born August 18, 1994) is an American artistic gymnast whose strongest events are rings, vault, and floor. Early life Whittenburg is from central Baltimore, Maryland. Career Whittenburg won a bronze medal at the 2014 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships. He was the 2014 U.S. National champion on Vault and is the 2015 U.S. national champion on rings. At the 2014 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships, Whittenburg won the bronze medal in the team event with the Americans, and contributed scored on floor exercise (15.300), still rings (14.766), vault (14.966) and parallel bars (14.633). Stephen Nedoroscik (born October 28, 1998) is an American artistic gymnast who specializes on the pommel horse. He is the 2021 World Champion and a two-time NCAA National Champion on the event. He is a member of the United States men's national gymnastics team. Personal life Nedoroscik was born in Worcester, Massachusetts, on October 28, 1998, to Cheryl and John Nedoroscik. He began gymnastics in 2003. Gymnastics career As a young gymnast Nedoroscik competed on all apparatuses. Around the time he was in high school he noticed that he was only progressing on pommel horse and decided to specialize in that event. Khoi Alexander Young (born December 31, 2002) is an American artistic gymnast. He was a member of the bronze medal winning team at the 2023 World Championships. He is a member of the United States men's national gymnastics team and currently competing in collegiate gymnastics for Stanford. He is the 2023 Pan American champion on pommel horse.
