2023 ToyotaCare 250
The 2023 ToyotaCare 250 was the 7th stock car race of the 2023 NASCAR Xfinity Series, the 43rd iteration of the event, and the first race of the Dash 4 Cash. The race was held on Saturday, April 1, 2023, in Richmond, Virginia at Richmond Raceway, a permanent tri-oval shaped racetrack. The race took the scheduled 250 laps to complete. Chandler Smith, driving for Kaulig Racing, would hold off John Hunter Nemechek in the final laps of the race, and earn his first career NASCAR Xfinity Series win. Cole Matthew Custer (born January 23, 1998) is an American professional stock car racing driver. International Race Of Champions
International Race of Champions (IROC) was a North American auto racing competition, created by Les Richter, Roger Penske and Mike Phelps, promoted as an American-motorsports equivalent of an all-star game. Despite its name, IROC was primarily associated with North American oval track racing. Drivers raced identically-prepared stock cars set up by a single team of mechanics in an effort to make the race purely a test of driver ability. It was run with a small field of 12 invited drivers. It was created and developed in 1972 by David Lockton, the developer of the Ontario Motor Speedway, launched in 1973, with Mark Donohue being the first driver to win the championship, in IROC I, 1974. Samuel Adam Mayer (born June 26, 2003) is an American professional stock car racing driver. He competes full-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, driving the No. 41 Ford Mustang Dark Horse for Haas Factory Team.
