2023 Nordic Darts Masters
The 2023 Viaplay Nordic Darts Masters was the third staging of the tournament by the Professional Darts Corporation, and the second entry in the 2023 World Series of Darts. The tournament featured 16 players (eight 'elite' PDC players and eight regional qualifiers) and was held at the Forum Copenhagen in Copenhagen, Denmark on 20–21 January 2023. Dimitri Van den Bergh was the defending champion, after defeating Gary Anderson 11–5 in the 2022 final. However, he lost to Gerwyn Price in the quarter-finals. Price then lost to Peter Wright in the final, with Wright winning his fourth World Series title, his first since 2019, when he won the German Darts Masters. Prize money The total prize fund remained at £60,000. World Series Of Darts
The World Series of Darts is a series of darts tournaments organised by the Professional Darts Corporation. Beginning in 2013, the World Series has comprised between two and seven tournaments across the world, where a mixture of the top-ranked PDC players take on local qualifiers in a knockout format. Daniel Larsson (born 9 June 1981) is a Swedish professional darts player. Career Larsson reached the semi final of the 2006 WDF Europe Cup, scoring wins over Tony O'Shea and Martin Phillips before losing to Niels de Ruiter. He then reached the final of the Sweden National Championship, losing to Alan Norris. On 4 December 2008 Larsson qualified for the 2009 BDO World Darts Championship, winning one of five spots. Jonny Clayton (born 4 October 1974) is a Welsh professional darts player who plays in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. The 2023 Bahrain Darts Masters was the first staging of the tournament by the Professional Darts Corporation. It was the first event in the 2023 World Series of Darts.
