2023 Israel Super Cup
The 2023 Israel Super Cup was the 28th edition of the Israel Super Cup (33rd, including unofficial matches), an annual Israeli football match played between the winners of the previous season's 2022–23 Israeli Premier League, Israeli Premier League (Maccabi Haifa F.C., Maccabi Haifa) and the 2022–23 Israel State Cup, Israel State Cup (Beitar Jerusalem F.C., Beitar Jerusalem). Israel Super Cup
The Israel Super Cup, also known as the Champion of Champions ( he, אלוף האלופים, Aluf HaAlufim), is an Israeli association football club competition played as a single match between the winner of the latest Israeli top league champions and the winner of the latest Israel State Cup. If a team won both the championship and the state cup, their designated rival for the Super Cup match was the league runner-up. Lior Refaelov (or Rafaelov, he, ליאור רפאלוב; born 26 April 1986) is an Israeli professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder or as a winger for Belgian First Division A club Anderlecht. He began his career at Maccabi Haifa, where he won the Israeli Premier League three times. In 2011, he transferred to Club Brugge for €2.5 million. Shareef Keouf ( he, שריף כיוף, born 25 June 2001) is an Israeli professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Maccabi Haifa. Playing career Keouf was born in Isfiya to a Druze family.
