El Paso Locomotive FC
El Paso Locomotive FC is an American professional soccer team based in El Paso, Texas. Founded in 2018, the team made its debut in the USL Championship in 2019. Club crest and colors The Locomotive brand was unveiled on October 4, 2018, beating out finalists Lagartos, Estrellas, Stars, and Tejanos. The crest is shaped in a manner similar to Mission Style buildings and features three main colors: West Texas Sky blue, Desert Dusk blue, and High Noon Sun. The crest has 11 vertical stripes that represent the eleven players on the field and resemble the front of a locomotive. A city icon, The Star on The Mountain, adorns the top of the crest, which is shaped in the silhouette of the Franklin Mountains. Jon Burklo
Jon Burklo (born March 8, 1984) is an American soccer coach. Burklo is married and has a son and daughter. He was, formerly, the 1st assistant coach with El Paso Locomotive FC in the USL Championship. Prior to taking the position with El Paso Locomotive FC, he was the MLS Next Academy Director for RISE Soccer Club in Houston, Texas. Additionally, he has held coaching positions with Saint Louis FC Academy/ St Louis Scott Gallagher as an academy coach and program director as well as having served as head coach for Corinthians FC of San Antonio in the NPSL for their inaugural season in 2014, helping the team to a South Central Conference Final appearance. He played his club soccer with Black Watch. He went on to play soccer at Liberty University from 2002 to 2005. Petar Petrović (born 15 September 1995) is a Swedish footballer who plays as a left midfielder for Trelleborgs FF. Early life Petrović was born in Malmö, and is of Serb ethnic descent. Rio Grande Valley FC, also known as RGVFC or Rio Grande Valley FC Toros, is an American semi-professional soccer team based in Edinburg, Texas operated by Lone Star, LLC. They joined the USL Championship in the 2016 season. The team served as a hybrid affiliate of the Houston Dynamo of Major League Soccer. Chris Canetti, Houston Dynamo president, called the relationship "an important and necessary step." The hybrid affiliation, a first for the USL, means that the Dynamo will be responsible for the soccer operation of the club, selecting players and coaching staff. Erik McCue
Erik McCue (born 18 January 2001) is a Swedish professional footballer who plays as a centre back for Örebro. Club career Youth McCue spent time in the youth setups for F.C. Bangkok and D.C. United before joining the Houston Dynamo academy in 2017. Upon joining the Dynamo academy, McCue quickly established himself in the program, helping lead the U-17 team to the U.S. Soccer Development Academy playoffs for the 2017–18 season and was named U-17 MVP by the coaching staff.
