The 2023 Campeonato Amazonense was the 107th edition of Amazonas (Brazilian state), Amazonas' top professional football league. The competition started on 28 January and ended on 22 April. Iranduba
Iranduba is a municipality located in the Brazilian state of Amazonas. The population of Iranduba in 2020 was 49,011 and its area is 2,215 km2, making it the smallest municipality in Amazonas in terms of area. Geography The municipality is located south and west of Manaus on the right bank of the Rio Negro and the left bank of the Solimões River. It is connected to Manaus by the Manaus Iranduba Bridge, a cable-stayed bridge which opened in 2011. Estádio Ismael Benigno
Estádio Ismael Benigno, also known as Estádio da Colina, is a multi-use stadium in Manaus, Brazil. It is currently used mostly for football matches. The stadium has a capacity of 10,400 people. The Estádio Ismael Benigno is owned by, and is the home stadium of, São Raimundo Esporte Clube. The stadium is named after Ismael Benigno, who was a president of the São Raimundo club in the 1950s and 1960s, and is the one who bought the groundplot on which the stadium was built. History In 1961, the works on Estádio Ismael Benigno were completed. The inaugural match was played on February 19 of that year, when Sport Recife beat São Raimundo 8–1. Estádio Municipal Carlos Zamith is a multi-use stadium in Manaus, Amazonas, Brazil. It is used mostly for football matches, and has a maximum capacity of 6,500 people. Initially projected to be a training center for the 2014 FIFA World Cup, the construction of the stadium began on 5 August 2013, and had an initial cost of R$ 14 million. Named after Carlos Zamith, a notable sports journalist of the state who had died at the time, the stadium had a symbolic inauguration on 24 May 2014, with state governor José Melo de Oliveira providing the first kick. Parintins
Parintins is a municipality in the far east of the Amazonas state of Brazil. It is part of a microregion also named Parintins. The population for the entire municipality was 115,363 (IBGE 2020) and its area is 5,952 km2. The city is located on Tupinambarana island in the Amazon River.
