The 2023 Australia Cup preliminary rounds are the qualifying competition to decide 24 of the 32 teams to take part in the 2023 Australia Cup. The competition commenced in February and is scheduled to be completed in July. 2022 Australia Cup Preliminary Rounds
The 2022 Australia Cup preliminary rounds were the qualifying competition to decide 24 of the 32 teams to take part in the 2022 Australia Cup. Initially known during the planning of the preliminary rounds as the FFA Cup, the renaming of the competition was announced during the 2021 FFA Cup Final. Dockerty Cup
The Dockerty Cup is an annual association football knock-out competition open to all Victorian clubs across the Victorian football league system. The tournament is named after the former president of Football Federation Victoria Harry Dockerty. Since 2014 the Cup is also a qualifying competition for the FFA Cup, now known as the Australia Cup, where the four finalists enter the competition proper at the round of 32. The Dockerty cup winner also qualifies to the next season's FV Community Shield, in a one-off match against the current NPL Victoria champion. Tasmanian Association Football Cup Competitions
The Football Federation of Tasmania organises several annual Tasmanian association football (soccer) cups and tournaments alongside the regular league competitions that they also run. The first cup competition in Tasmania was the Falkinder Cup, which began in 1913. 2023 FSA Federation Cup
The 2023 Football South Australia Federation Cup was the 110th running of the Federation Cup, the main soccer knockout cup competition in South Australia. The competition also functioned as part of the 2023 Australia Cup preliminary rounds, with the two finalists qualifying for the main knockout competition. North Eastern MetroStars were champions for the sixth time, defeating Campbelltown City 3–2 after extra time in the final. Waratah Cup
The Waratah Cup is a knockout cup competition in New South Wales, run by the governing body of football in NSW, Football NSW. Teams competing in the Waratah Cup come from the National Premier Leagues NSW, National Premier Leagues NSW 2, National Premier Leagues NSW 3, National Premier Leagues NSW 4 and numerous other semi professional & amateur association clubs within New South Wales. The Federation Cup is a soccer competition established in 1962 that is held between clubs who are affiliated with Capital Football in the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) and surrounding areas of New South Wales. It is the premier cup competition in the region.
