2023 Arnold Strongman Classic
The 2023 Arnold Strongman Classic was the 21st Arnold Strongman Classic competition which took place in Columbus, Ohio from 3-4 March 2023 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center The top 2 finishers from the previous years competition Martins Licis and Oleksii Novikov did not take part in this years edition of the event and this was Mateus Kieliszkowski's first event in 17 months due to recovering from injuries. Mitchell Hooper won the event on his debut becoming only the fourth man to do so after Mark Henry, Zydrunas Savickas and Vytautas Lalas. The Greater Columbus Convention Center (GCCC) is the primary convention center of downtown Columbus, Ohio, United States, along the east side of North High Street (Columbus, Ohio), High Street. Vytautas Lalas
Vytautas Lalas (born 21 July 1982) is a Lithuanian professional strongman. He is most notable for being the winner of the 2013 Arnold Strongman Classic and the runner-up at the 2012 World's Strongest Man. Strongman Lalas' first international strongman event win was the Giants Live Poland event on 8 August 2010. This victory qualified Lalas for the 2010 World's Strongest Man competition in Sun City, South Africa, but he was unable to qualify for the finals. Lalas placed third in the 2011 Giants Live London event in March 2011, this placing qualified him for the 2011 World's Strongest Man contest later that year in Wingate, North Carolina. Thomas Evans (strongman)
Thomas 'Tom' Evans (born 9 May 1994) is an American Strongman from Franklin, North Carolina. Evans worked as an athletics assistant strength and conditioning coach at the University of Delaware and was also an American Football player before trying out for 2021 America's Strongest Man. The following year, within a span of 6 months, he won both the 2022 Arnold Amateur and the Shaw Classic Open which paved the way for him to attend other high level international competitions. Rob Kearney is a retired American professional strongman competitor. He won the Giants Live North American Open in 2017 and the Arnold International World Series Australia in 2019. Charles "Trey" Mitchell III (born July 16, 1993), nicknamed The Big Thicket, is a professional strongman from Lumberton, Texas.
