2023 ARCA Menards Series West
The 2023 ARCA Menards Series West was the 70th season of the ARCA Menards Series West, a regional stock car racing series sanctioned by NASCAR in the United States. The season began on March 10 at Phoenix Raceway with the General Tire 150 (Phoenix), General Tire 150 and ended with the Desert Diamond Casino West Valley 100, also at Phoenix Raceway, on November 3. Jake Drew entered the season as the defending champion. He did not return to the West Series full-time in 2023 and defend his title after Sunrise Ford Racing, the team that he drove for in 2022, closed down after the end of the season and he was unable to find a full-time ride with another team at the start of the 2023 season. At the conclusion of the season, Sean Hingorani of Venturini Motorsports clinched the ARCA Menards Series West championship. The ARCA Menards Series West, formerly the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West, NASCAR AutoZone West Series, NASCAR Winston West Series, NASCAR Winston Transcontinental Series and NASCAR Camping World West Series, is a regional stock car racing series owned and operated by the Automobile Racing Club of America (ARCA) and the NASCAR, National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR). The series was first formed in 1954 as a proving ground for drivers from the western United States who could not travel to race in the more traditional stock car racing regions like North Carolina and the rest of the southern United States. Kyle Keller (born January 25, 2005) is an American professional stock car racing driver. He competes full-time in the ARCA Menards Series West and part-time in the ARCA Menards Series, driving the No. 71 Ford for Jan's Towing Racing. He currently co-owns Venturini Motorsports, a racing team that competes in the ARCA Menards Series, along with his father, Bill.
