Mike Naake
Mike Naake (born April 15, 1965) is an American former professional stock car racing driver and team owner who competed in the NASCAR Winston West Series from 1996 to 1997. He is also the co-owner of Naake-Klauer Motorsports, which currently competes in the ARCA Menards Series West. Naake also previously competed in the NASCAR Southwest Series, the Pacific Challenge Series, and the Nor-Cal Best In The West Late Model Tour Series. Mesa Marin Raceway
Mesa Marin Raceway was a paved oval race track, located near the junction of California State Route 178, CA 178 and California State Route 184, CA 184 (Kern Canyon Road), east of Bakersfield, California, Bakersfield, California. It opened in 1977 and was owned by Marion Collins throughout its existence. The Collins family helped start the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series in 1995, and hosted nine races in that series at the track between 1995 and 2003. Mesa Marin also hosted 45 races for the Winston West Series and for NASCAR's SRL Southwest Tour, Southwest Tour. The last race was held at Mesa Marin on October 16, 2005, as the track was sold for a housing development to be constructed on the site. Pikes Peak International Raceway
Pikes Peak International Raceway (PPIR) is a racetrack in the Colorado Springs area within the city limits of Fountain, Colorado, that by October 12, 1997, was "the fastest 1-mile paved oval anywhere". The speedway hosted races in several series including the IndyCar Series, Indy Racing League and two NASCAR series (NASCAR Xfinity Series, Busch and NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, Truck) until operations were suspended from August 2005. A wide variety of amateur racing groups use PPIR for racing and training as the circuit is now closed to sanctioned professional auto racing due to the purchase of the track by PPIR LLC from NASCAR/ISC in 2008 after the track was put up for sale in 2006. Auto Club Speedway (known as California Speedway before and after the 2008–2023 corporate sponsorship by the Automobile Club of Southern California) was a , D-shaped oval superspeedway in unincorporated San Bernardino County, California, near Fontana. It hosted National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR) racing annually from 1997 until 2023. It was also previously used for open wheel racing events. Phoenix International Raceway
Phoenix Raceway (formerly known as ISM Raceway from 2018–2020, Phoenix International Raceway from 1964–1973 and 1976–2017, and FasTrack International Speedway from 1973–1976) is a dogleg oval track in Avondale, Arizona. The track has held a variety of events since its opening in 1964, including NASCAR, IndyCar, and CART races. It has seating capacity of 42,000 as of 2019. Jack Sellers
Jack Sellers (July 27, 1944 – October 24, 2016) was an American professional stock car racing driver and team owner. Sellers was a long-time competitor in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West, formerly known as the Winston West Series. Racing career Sellers made his K&N Pro Series West debut in 1985 when the series was still known as NASCAR Winston West Grand National Division. He made his first start at Sonoma, driving a self-owned Oldsmobile. During his Rookie year Sellers raced part-time in the West Series. Sellers was sponsored by Coca-Cola as his family owned the Coca-Cola bottling plant in Sacramento. Sellers started racing full-time in 1987, qualifying for 6 of the 8 races that season. He also scored his first top-ten finish, when he finished seventh at the Spokane Grand Prix Course. Sellers finished tenth in the point standings that season. Evergreen Speedway
Evergreen Speedway is an automobile racetrack located within the confines of the Evergreen State Fairgrounds in Monroe, Washington. The stadium can accommodate up to 7,500 spectators in the covered grandstand and an additional 7,500 in the uncovered modular grandstands. The layout of the track is unique in that it incorporates an oversized paved outer oval, a paved inner oval, a paved inner oval, a dragstrip, and the #2 ranked figure-eight track in the United States.
