2022–23 Raków Częstochowa Season
The 2022–23 season was Raków Częstochowa's 101st season in existence and the club's fourth consecutive season in the top flight of Polish football. In addition to the domestic league, Raków Częstochowa participated in this season's edition of the Polish Cup, the Polish Super Cup, and the UEFA Europa Conference League. The season covered the period from 1 July 2022 to 30 June 2023. Raków Częstochowa
Robotniczy Klub Sportowy Raków Częstochowa Spółka Akcyjna (commonly referred to as Raków Częstochowa, or simply Raków) is a Polish professional football club, based in Częstochowa, that competes in the Ekstraklasa, the top tier of national football league system. History Sports club "Racovia" was established in 1921 in the village of Raków. The club dissolved in 1925 due to lack of registration. In 1927, the club was reactivated under the name of the Robotniczy Klub Sportowy (Workers Sports Club) Raków. A year later, the village became a district of Częstochowa. The club operated under the patronage of the Polish Socialist Party and was financially supported by the Częstochowa steelworks. In 1937, the club was promoted to Klasa A (third level). During the German occupation (World War II), the club did not function. In the years 1951–1955, a Raków Municipal Stadium with an athletics track was built. Vladislavs Gutkovskis (born 2 April 1995) is a Latvian professional footballer who plays as a forward for South Korean K League 1 club Daejeon Hana Citizen and the Latvia national team. Club career Gutkovskis started his career with JFK Olimps in his home country of Latvia. He made 13 first-team appearances for the club before joining fellow Latvian side Skonto FC a year later. Adrian Gryszkiewicz (born 13 December 1999) is a Polish professional Association football, footballer who plays as a Defender (association football), defender for II liga club Warta Poznań. Mateusz Wdowiak (born 28 August 1996) is a Polish professional footballer who plays as a winger for Ekstraklasa club Zagłębie Lubin.
