2022–23 Marsh One-Day Cup
The 2022–23 Marsh One-Day Cup was the 54th season of the official List A domestic cricket competition played in Australia. Western Australia were the defending champions. On 29 June 2022, Cricket Australia confirmed the schedule of the tournament, with the final played on 8 March 2023. In the final, Western Australia beat South Australia by 181 runs to win their 16th one-day title. Will Pucovski
William Jan Pucovski (born 2 February 1998) is an Australian former cricketer. He made his List A debut for Cricket Australia XI against Pakistan during their tour of Australia on 10 January 2017. He made his first-class debut for Victoria in the 2016–17 Sheffield Shield season on 1 February 2017. He played one Test match as the 460th cap for Australia, scoring a half-century 62 in his debut innings in 2021 against India and 10 in the second, before he suffered a shoulder injury whilst fielding that prevented further Test appearances. He suffered from at least 13 known concussion injuries during his career along with mental health issues, and retired at age 27 in 2025. Henry Thornton (born 16 December 1996) is an Australian cricketer who plays for the South Australian cricket team and the Adelaide Strikers. He made his List A debut for Cricket Australia XI against Pakistanis during their tour of Australia on 10 January 2017. Domestic career Thornton made his Twenty20 debut playing for the Sydney Sixers in the 2016–17 Big Bash League against the Brisbane Heat on 3 January 2017. He opened the bowling and bowled his full four overs with figures of 1/40. Matthew Thomas Renshaw (born 28 March 1996) is an Australian international cricketer. He played eleven Tests for Australia between 2016 and 2018 as an opening batsman, and was recalled to the Test team in 2023. Benjamin Andrew Davey Manenti (born 23 March 1997) is an Italian-Australian cricketer. He is a right-arm off spin bowler who bats right-handed. He has played for Tasmania, South Australia, the Sydney Sixers, and the Adelaide Strikers. He has also represented the Italy national cricket team, qualifying as a citizen by descent. Shawn Craig
Shawn Craig (born 23 June 1973) is an Australian former first-class cricketer, who is now an umpire. Playing career Craig played first-class cricket for the Victorian Bushrangers, debuting in 1996–97 after graduating from the Australian Cricket Academy. He was used for his part-time legspin and his middle-order batting. His finest knock with the bat was an unbeaten 128 in 1998–99. In his first-class career he averaged 31 with Victoria over the space of 20 matches, and was cut from the state squad after the 2001–02 season. The Duckworth–Lewis–Stern method (DLS method or DLS) previously known as the Duckworth–Lewis method (D/L) is a mathematical formulation designed to calculate the target score (number of runs needed to win) for the team batting second in a limited overs cricket match interrupted by weather or other circumstances.
