The 2022 Ms. Olympia was an International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness Professional League (IFBB Pro League) professional female bodybuilding contest and part of Joe Weider's Olympia Fitness & Performance Weekend 2022. It was the 38th Ms. Olympia contest to be held. IFBB Pro League
The International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness Professional League (IFBB / IFBB Pro League / IFBB Pro) is the largest international professional sports governing body federation in the world for professional bodybuilding, physique, fitness, figure, bikini and wellness. It sanctions the most prestigious competitions in bodybuilding at the Mr Olympia and Ms. Olympia, and the second most prestigious competitions in bodybuilding at the Arnold Sports Festival and Rising Phoenix World Championships. Andrea Shaw (born December 18, 1983) is an American professional bodybuilding champion and physique and figure competitor. She holds three Ms. Olympia title wins and three Ms Rising Phoenix title wins. Early life Andrea grew up in Detroit, Michigan. As a girl growing up, she was into gymnastics and competitive cheerleading. Francesco Maria Columbu (August 7, 1941 – August 30, 2019) was an Italian bodybuilder, powerlifter, actor, author, producer, and a licensed chiropractor. Originally a boxer, Columbu won the Mr. Olympia in 1976 and 1981, and competed in the inaugural edition of the World's Strongest Man in 1977, where he placed fifth. He also had an acting career and authored numerous books on bodybuilding and nutrition. Mamdouh Mohammed Hassan Elssbiay ( ar, ممدوح محمد حسن السبيعي; born 16 September 1984), also known as Big Ramy, is an Egyptian IFBB professional bodybuilder. He is a two time Mr. Olympia champion, winning in 2020 and 2021. Early life Mamdouh Mohammed Hassan Elssbiay was born on 16 September 1984 in Al-Sebea, a town in Kafr El Sheikh. He worked as a fisherman before moving to Kuwait, where he started to train professionally in Kuwait City in 2009. Jason Isaac Cutler (born August 3, 1973) is an American retired professional bodybuilder. Cutler is a four-time Mr. Olympia winner, having won in 2006, 2007, 2009, and 2010; and a six-time runner-up. Larry Dee Scott (October 12, 1938 March 8, 2014), nicknamed "The Legend" and "The Golden Boy," was an American IFBB professional bodybuilder. He won the inaugural 1965 Mr. Olympia competition and defended the crown at the 1966 Mr. Olympia contest before retiring. Early life Larry Dee Scott was born in Blackfoot, Idaho to Thea Scott and machinist Wayne Scott. He began training at age 16 and won the Mr. Idaho competition in 1959 at age 20.
