The 2022 Menards 250 was the eighth Stock car racing, stock car race of the 2022 ARCA Menards Series season, the fourth race of the ARCA Menards Series, 2022 Sioux Chief Showdown, and the seventh iteration of the Menards 250 (Elko), event. The race was held on Saturday, June 25, 2022, in Elko New Market, Minnesota at Elko Speedway, a 0.375 mile (0.604 km) permanent oval racetrack. The race was contested over 250 laps. Sammy Smith, driving for Kyle Busch Motorsports, dominated the entire race, leading all but 17 laps for his 2nd career ARCA Menards Series win, and his second of the season. To fill out the podium, Jesse Love and Landon Pembelton, both driving for Venturini Motorsports, would finish 2nd and 3rd, respectively. Current race The Shore Lunch 250 presented by Dutch Boy Paints is a , 250-lap annual ARCA Menards Series race held at Elko Speedway in Elko New Market, Minnesota. Max Reaves is the defending race winner. History ARCA debuted at the track in 2012, running at the track for three consecutive years. After 2014, the race was taken off the calendar for the next two seasons, before being added back for the 2017 season, where it has remained since. In 2020, the race was cancelled and moved to Toledo Speedway, Toledo due to the COVID-19 pandemic. With this race off the schedule, Menards also moved their title sponsorship to the new Toledo race. Legends car racing is a style of auto racing designed primarily to promote exciting racing and to keep costs down (as of 2022, a brand-new Legends car could be purchased in the USA for $17,500 USD).
