The 2022 La Flèche Wallonne Femmes was a Belgium, Belgian Road bicycle racing, road cycling one-day race that took place on 20 April 2022. It was the 25th edition of La Flèche Wallonne Féminine, La Flèche Wallonne Femmes and the 9th event of the 2022 UCI Women's World Tour. Italian Marta Cavalli won the race for the first time. Route The race started and finished in Huy, with the finish line on the top of the final ascent of the Mur de Huy - one of three ascents of the Mur on the route. The race covered the same final 90km as the men's race, totalling 130.2 km. 2022 UCI Women's World Tour
The 2022 UCI Women's World Tour was a competition that included twenty-three road bicycle racing, road cycling events throughout the 2022 in women's road cycling, 2022 women's cycling season. It was the seventh edition of the UCI Women's World Tour, the ranking system launched by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) in 2016. The competition began with 2022 Strade Bianche Women, Strade Bianche on 5 March, and finished with the final stage of the Tour de Romandie Féminin on 9 October. Ashleigh Moolman Pasio (née Moolman; born 9 December 1985) is a South African professional road bicycle racer, who rides for UCI Women's WorldTeam . Marta Cavalli (born 18 March 1998) is an Italian racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI Women's WorldTeam . In 2018, she won the Italian National Road Race Championships.
