Trisha Ford
Trisha Lynn Ford (née Dean; born October 19, 1977) is an American college softball coach. She is the head softball coach at the Texas A&M University, a position she has held since the 2023 season. Ford served as the head softball coach at Saint Mary's College of California from 2002 to 2003, California State University, Fresno from 2013 to 2016, and Arizona State University from 2017 to 2022. Early life and education Born and raised in Fremont, California, Ford graduated from American High School in Fremont. Ford then attended Saint Mary's College of California in nearby Moraga, where she graduated in 1999 with a bachelor's degree in political science. On the Saint Mary's Gaels softball team as Trisha Dean, Ford played at infielder from 1998 to 2000 under head coach Chelle Putzer. 2022 Oregon Ducks Softball Team
The 2022 Oregon Ducks softball team represented the University of Oregon during the 2022 NCAA Division I softball season. The Ducks, led by 4th-year head coach Melyssa Lombardi, played their home games at Jane Sanders Stadium as members of the Pac-12 Conference. Previous season Last season, the Ducks finished the season with a 14–10 record in conference play and a 40–17 overall record. They finished in third place in the Pac-12. Jane Sanders Stadium, nicknamed "The Jane", is an outdoor softball stadium in Eugene, Oregon, United States. Located on the south side of the University of Oregon (UO) campus at 18th and University, it is the home field of the Oregon Ducks of the Pac-12 Conference. Robert C. "Bob" Sanders donated more than $16 million to build the stadium, a memorial to his late wife Jane Sanders, who had been a longtime fan of Ducks softball.
