Trisha Ford
Trisha Lynn Ford (née Dean; born October 19, 1977) is an American college softball coach. She is the head softball coach at the Texas A&M University, a position she has held since the 2023 season. Ford served as the head softball coach at Saint Mary's College of California from 2002 to 2003, California State University, Fresno from 2013 to 2016, and Arizona State University from 2017 to 2022. Early life and education Born and raised in Fremont, California, Ford graduated from American High School in Fremont. Ford then attended Saint Mary's College of California in nearby Moraga, where she graduated in 1999 with a bachelor's degree in political science. On the Saint Mary's Gaels softball team as Trisha Dean, Ford played at infielder from 1998 to 2000 under head coach Chelle Putzer. The Texas A&M Aggies softball team represents Texas A&M University in NCAA Division I college softball. The team belongs to the SEC Conference and plays home games at the Davis Diamond.The Aggies have won two NCAA championships in 1983 and 1987 along with an AIAW national championship in 1982. American High School (AHS) is a public secondary school located in Fremont, California, United States. It is one of five public high schools within the Fremont Unified School District. The school receives its students through the American High School attendance area boundary set by the district. It was a California Distinguished School from 2005 to 2009 and a California Gold Ribbon School from 2017 to 2019. It was recognized as a California Distinguished School once again in 2019. Pacific Coast Softball Conference
The Pacific Coast Softball Conference (PCSC) was an NCAA Division I conference that only sponsored women's softball. It was founded in 2002, beginning play in spring 2003, with six members in the Western United States. The PCSC expanded to 12 members for the 2009–10 school year, and maintained that size for three seasons, but major conference realignment first decimated the conference and then led to its demise after the 2013 softball season. The Texas Longhorns softball team represents The University of Texas at Austin in NCAA Division I intercollegiate softball competition. The Longhorns currently compete in the Big 12 Conference. The 2023 NCAA Division I softball tournament was held from May 19 through June 8, 2023, as the final part of the 2023 NCAA Division I softball season. The tournament culminated with the 2023 Women's College World Series at USA Softball Hall of Fame Stadium in Oklahoma City. Charlotte, Eastern Illinois, George Mason, North Carolina Central, Northern Colorado, Northern Kentucky, and Omaha made their NCAA Division I softball tournament debuts. Tarleton State University is a public university with its main campus in Stephenville, Texas. It is a founding member of the Texas A&M University System and enrolled over 14,000 students in the fall of 2020. The 2018 NCAA Division I softball tournament was held from May 18 through June 6, 2018 as the final part of the 2018 NCAA Division I softball season.
