2021 VFL Season
The 2021 VFL season was the 139th season of the Victorian Football League (VFL), a second-tier Australian rules football competition played in the states of Victoria, New South Wales, and Queensland. The season began on 16 April but was curtailed without a premiership awarded on 1 September, due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. The 2021 season saw significant transition in the composition of the league, with the amalgamation of the North East Australian Football League (NEAFL) into the VFL and resulting expansion interstate into New South Wales and Queensland. The league also underwent some shifts as a result of the financial fall-out from the first year of the pandemic, which had seen the 2020 season cancelled without a match played; and, a transition in league rules to strengthen its position as a pathway between underage and professional leagues. Western Bulldogs
The Western Bulldogs are a professional Australian rules football club based in the Melbourne suburb of Footscray. The club competes in the Australian Football League (AFL), the sport's premier competition. NAB League
The Talent League (also known as the Coates Hire, Coates Talent League under naming rights and previously as the National Australia Bank, NAB League and Transport Accident Commission, TAC Cup) is an under-19 Australian rules football representative competition based in Melbourne and run by the Australian Football League (AFL). It is based on geographic regions throughout country Victoria (Australia), Victoria and metropolitan Melbourne with each team representing one of twelve Victorian regions, while a thirteenth team from Tasmania was reintroduced in 2019. 1987 VFA Season
The 1987 VFA season was the 106th season of the top division of the Victorian Football Association (VFA), and the 27th season of second division competition. The Division 1 premiership was won by the Springvale Football Club, after it defeated in the Grand Final on 20 September by 38 points; it was Springvale's first Division 1 premiership, won in just its fourth season in the first division. The Division 2 premiership was won by Prahran; it was the club's second Division 2 premiership, and the last premiership ever won by the club in either division. AFL Tasmania is the Australian Football League (AFL) subsidiary in Tasmania and its Sport governing body, governing body for Australian rules football in Tasmania. The Sydney University Australian National Football Club (SUANFC) is the oldest Australian rules football club in New South Wales, founded in 1887.
