2019–20 MRF Challenge Formula 2000 Championship
The 2019–20 MRF Challenge Formula 2000 Championship was the seventh running of the MRF Challenge Formula 2000 Championship. It began on 22 November 2019 at the Dubai Autodrome, United Arab Emirates, and finished on February 16 2020 at the Madras Motor Race Track in Chennai, India. The series was held over 15 races spanning three meetings. MRF Challenge is an open-wheel motorsport formula In science, a formula is a concise way of expressing information symbolically, as in a mathematical formula or a ''chemical formula''. The informal use of the term ''formula'' in science refers to the general construct of a relationship betwe ... based in India organized by Madras Motor Sports Club. This was India's first and only FIA approved and inscribed international series. The cars were developed and manufactured by Coimbatore based J A Motorsport. This was promoted as a Winter series where young and upcoming racing drivers could get valuable seat and track time during the off-season months in competitive tracks in Asia. This was supported by MRF Ltd in its entirety and was a unique concept of "Arrive and Drive" which meant that the drivers would not have the hassle of making all arrangements. The Bahrain International Circuit () is a motorsport venue opened in 2004 and used for drag racing, GP2 Series (now FIA Formula 2 Championship, FIA Formula 2), and the annual Formula One Bahrain Grand Prix.
