Dubai Autodrome
The Dubai Autodrome (دبي أوتودروم) is an FIA sanctioned motorsports circuit located in Dubailand, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The architects of the project were Populous and the circuit was designed by Clive Bowen of Apex Circuit Design. Opened in October 2004 with the final round of the LG Super Racing Weekend featuring the final rounds of the FIA GT Championship, European Touring Car Championship and 2004 Formula Renault V6 Eurocup season, Dubai Autodrome was the first part of the Dubai Motor City development that was available for use. The venue hosted the December 2005 A1 Grand Prix and the FIA GT Championship from 2004 to 2006. The track record at the longest configuration was set by Kamui Kobayashi (DAMS) with a time of 1:41.220 in a GP2 Asia car. Dubai Motor City
Dubailand was an entertainment complex planned to be built in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, which was owned by Tatweer (which belongs to Dubai Holding). When announced in 2003 it was one of the most ambitious leisure developments ever proposed anywhere in the world costing $64.3 billion. The development was put on hold in 2008, due to the 2008 financial crisis, Great Recession, and the Dubai housing crash in 2009, but resumed in mid-2013. Updates in 2013 showed that $55 billion had been raised towards the works. Some projects were cancelled, although Dubailand has since become the name of an entertainment district in Dubai where some of the planned projects for the Dubailand complex have opened. Populous Holdings, Inc. is a global architectural and design practice specializing in sports facilities, arenas and convention centers, as well as the planning and design of major special events. The 2016–17 Formula 4 UAE Championship was the inaugural season of the Formula 4 UAE Championship, a motor racing series for the United Arab Emirates regulated according to FIA Formula 4 regulations, and organised and promoted by the Automobile & Touring Club of the UAE (ATCUAE) and AUH Motorsports. It began on 28 October 2016 at the Yas Marina Circuit and finished on 11 March 2017 at the same venue, after a 3-race non-championship opening round and 18 championship races held across five rounds, all of them held at the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi and the Dubai Autodrome. Tatuus F4-T014
The Tatuus F4-T014 is a junior formula racing car introduced in 2014 by Italian manufacturer Tatuus. The basic chassis is also used in the Tatuus MSV F4-016, Tatuus USF-17 and the Tatuus PM-18. F4-T014 and MSV F4-016 The Tatuus F4-T014 was the first racing car homologated according to the FIA Formula 4 rules. The car was first used in the 2014 Italian F4 Championship, won by Lance Stroll. Jonathan Aberdein (born 14 February 1998) is a South African Auto racing, racing driver. He previously competed in the FIA Formula 3 European Championship with Motopark Academy, Motopark. He has also raced in the ADAC Formula 4 in both 2016 ADAC Formula 4 Championship, 2016 and 2017 ADAC Formula 4 Championship, 2017 and won the 2016–17 Formula 4 UAE Championship in dominant fashion.
