2019–20 Dijon FCO Season
The 2019–20 season was Dijon Football Côte d'Or's 22nd season in existence and the club's 4th consecutive season in the top flight of French football. In addition to the domestic league, Dijon participated in this season's editions of the Coupe de France, and the Coupe de la Ligue. The season covered the period from 1 July 2019 to 30 June 2020. Dijon FCO
Dijon Football Côte d'Or (; ), commonly referred to as Dijon FCO or simply as Dijon, is a French Football in France, football club based in Dijon. The club was founded in 1998 as a result of a merger between two local clubs in the city, and competed in Ligue 2 after suffering relegation from Ligue 1 in the 2011–12 season. The club earned promotion back to Ligue 1 at the end of the 2015–16 Ligue 2, 2015–16 season, remained for five seasons before two relegations in three years saw the club relegated out of the professional leagues at the end of the 2022–23 season. Florent Balmont
Florent Balmont (born 2 February 1980) is a French former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Career Balmont began his career at Olympique Lyonnais in the 2002–03 Ligue 1 season after coming through the junior ranks. In the 2003–04 season, Balmont was sent out on loan to Toulouse FC making a total of 35 appearances. After returning from loan, Balmont signed with OGC Nice. In his time with Lyon, Balmont won the 2002–03 championship and the 2004 Trophée des Champions, converting his penalty in the latter after the match went to a shoot-out. Frédéric Sammaritano (born 23 March 1986) is a French former professional footballer. Career Born in Vannes, Sammaritano spent three seasons at local club Vannes.
