Júlio Tavares (born 19 November 1988) is a Cape Verdean footballer who plays as a striker for Saudi Professional League club Al-Raed and the Cape Verde national team. Club career Dijon On 28 October 2017, Tavares became Dijon's all time leading goal scorer after heading in the only goal in the 1–0 Ligue 1 home victory over Nantes; it was his 56th goal for Dijon in all competitions and broke the previous Dijon record of 55 goals scored in all competitions held by Sebastián Ribas. Dijon Football Côte d'Or (; literally "Dijon Football Gold Coast"), commonly referred to as Dijon FCO or simply as Dijon, is a French football club based in Dijon. The club was founded in 1998 as a result of a merger between two local clubs in the city, and competed in Ligue 2 after suffering relegation from Ligue 1 in the 2011–12 season. The Championnat National 2, commonly known as National 2 and formerly known as Championnat de France Amateur (CFA), is a football league competition. Al-Faisaly FC ( ar, نادي الفيصلي) is a Saudi Arabian football team playing in the Saudi Professional League, based in Harmah City with a population of around 15,000 people. The club is named after King Faisal (r. 1964–75); he was crown prince at the time of the club's founding. The 2015–16 Ligue 2 season was the 77th season since its establishment. Teams There are 20 clubs in the league, with three promoted teams from Championnat National replacing the three teams that were relegated to the same level, and three relegated teams from Ligue 1 replacing the three teams that were promoted to the same level. All clubs that secured Ligue 2 status for the season were subject to approval by the DNCG before becoming eligible to participate. The first team to officially join the division for the 2015–16 was Lens, who were relegated from Ligue 1 on 2 May 2015 as results on the day went against them.
