2019–20 Biathlon IBU Cup
The 2019–20 Biathlon IBU Cup was a multi-race tournament over a season of biathlon, organised by the International Biathlon Union. IBU Cup is the second-rank competition in biathlon after the Biathlon World Cup. The season started on 25 November 2019 in Sjusjøen, Norway and ended on 8 March 2020 in Minsk-Raubichi, Belarus. Lucas Fratzscher
Lucas Fratzscher (born 6 July 1994) is a German biathlete. He is the winner of the overall IBU Cup standings for the 2019/20 season. Career Lucas Fratzscher grew up in Schleusingen. After initially practicing athletics, he started biathlon at the age of nine at WSV Oberhof 05. In 2007, he attended the Sports High School Oberhof, where he graduated in 2014. Since then, he has been a member of the sports promotion group of the Bundeswehr in the Rennsteig Barracks and is coached by Mark Kirchner and Marko Danz at the Thuringian Olympic Training Center in Oberhof. Lucas Fratzscher competed in his first international races during the IBU Cup 2016/17 in Obertilliach. In the same winter, he also participated in the Biathlon European Championships, with a 13th place in the sprint in Martell being his best result of the season. Anton Babikov
Anton Igorevich Babikov (; born 2 August 1991) is a Russian Biathlon, biathlete. He competed in the Biathlon World Cup, and represented Russia at the Biathlon World Championships 2016. Martell, South Tyrol
Martell (; ) is a valley and ''comune'' (municipality) in South Tyrol in northern Italy. It is located in the Martell Valley of the long river Plima, about west of Bolzano. The commune reaches from an elevation of up to the of the Zufallspitze (Italian: Monte Cevedale) which towers over the southeastern end of the valley. It is the only comune in Italy without any native speakers of Italian. Obertilliach is a municipality in the district of Lienz District, Lienz, in the Austria, Austrian state of Tyrol (state), Tyrol.
