Sultan Qaboos Cup
The Sultan Qaboos Cup (), also known as the HM's Cup, is Oman's premier knockout tournament for men's football. It was officially founded in 1972 and the champions of that first edition were Al-Ahli. It was briefly known as Oman Cup. Currently, the most successful club in the league is Dhofar with a total of eleven titles to their name, with the latest win at the 2023–24 season. Saham Club () is an Football clubs of Oman, Omani sports club based in Saham, in northeastern Oman. The club currently plays in the Oman Professional League, top division of Oman Football Association. Their home stadium is Sohar Regional Sports Complex. The stadium is government owned. Away Goals Rule
The away goals rule is a method of tiebreaking in association football and other sports when teams play each other twice, once at each team's home ground. Under the away goals rule, if the total goals scored by each team are equal, the team that has scored more goals " away from home" wins the tiebreaker. History The idea for the foundation of a club in Salalah began in the 1960s, resulting in various meetings among the town's people.
