2017 Rosenborg BK Season
The 2017 season is Rosenborg's 38th consecutive year in the top flight now known as Eliteserien, their 50th season in the top flight of Norwegian football and third season with Kåre Ingebrigtsen as permanent manager. They will participate in Eliteserien, the Cup, Mesterfinalen and the 2017–18 UEFA Champions League, entering at the Second qualifying round stage. They qualified for the group stage of the 2017–18 UEFA Europa League. This year will mark Rosenborg's 100th anniversary, an event that will be marked with the game against Lillestrøm on 20 May, one day after the 100th anniversary. Rosenborg BK
Rosenborg Ballklub, commonly referred to simply as Rosenborg () or RBK, is a Norwegian professional association football, football club from Trondheim that plays in Eliteserien (football), Eliteserien. The club has won a record 26 league titles, a shared record 12 Norwegian Football Cup titles and have played more UEFA matches than any other Norwegian team. RBK play their home games at the all-seater Lerkendal Stadion which has a capacity of 21,421. The club was founded as Odd in 1917 but were not allowed to play amateur league matches until 1928, when they took the present name. Eliteserien
Eliteserien () is a Norwegian professional league for association football clubs. At the top of the Norwegian football league system, it is the country's primary football competition. Contested by 16 clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Norwegian First Division. Seasons run from March to November with each team playing 30 matches (playing each other home and away). Most games are played on Sunday evenings. Eliteserien was founded in 1937 as Norgesserien (English: ''The League of Norway''), and the first season was the 1937–38 season. The structure and name of Eliteserien, along with Norway's other football leagues, has undergone frequent changes. Yann-Erik Randa Bahezre de Lanlay (born 14 May 1992) is a Norwegian footballer who plays as a winger for Viking in Eliteserien. Club career Early years De Lanlay was born in Norway to a French father and Norwegian mother, and is therefore eligible to play for both countries. Matthías Vilhjálmsson (born 30 January 1987) is an Icelandic international footballer who plays as a striker for the Úrvalsdeild club Víkingur. He can as well play as a midfielder. Anders Ågnes Konradsen (born 18 July 1990) is a Norwegian former professional footballer. He has previously played for the Norwegian clubs Bodø/Glimt, Strømsgodset and Rosenborg, and the French club Rennes. He was a part of the Norwegian team that played in the 2013 UEFA European Under-21 Football Championship, and has also been capped for Norway at senior level. Mike Lindemann Jensen (; born 19 February 1988) is a Danish professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Danish 1st Division club HB Køge. He has also been capped by Denmark. Jensen joined the Brøndby youth academy at age 13, and made his professional debut for the club in the 2006–07 season as a promising talent. Jacob Vandsø Ryfeldt Rasmussen (born 28 May 1997) is a Danish professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Danish Superliga club Brøndby. André Hansen (born 17 December 1989) is a Norwegian professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Rosenborg in Eliteserien. He made his International debut for Norway in 2013.
