2016–17 SEHA League
The 2016–17 season was the sixth season of the SEHA (South East Handball Association) League and third under the sponsorship of the Russian oil and gas company Gazprom. Ten teams from seven countries (Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Hungary, Macedonia, Slovakia and Slovenia) participated in that year's competition. Telekom Veszprém were the defending champions. The SEHA League was consisted of two phases – the first has 18 rounds in which all teams play one home and one away game against each other. After that, the four best ranked clubs played on the Final Four tournament. The campaign began on 30 August 2016 with the match between last year's runner up Vardar and fourth placed Meshkov Brest. The regular season ended on 16 March 2017, with the decisive match between PPD Zagreb and Meshkov Brest. Rukometni klub Zagreb ( en, Zagreb Handball Club, ) is a men's professional handball club from Zagreb, Croatia. It competes in the Croatian Premier League, SEHA League, and the EHF Champions League. RK Zagreb won 33 national championships and won the national cup 27 times. Veszprém Aréna
Veszprém Aréna is an indoor sports and events hall in Veszprém, Hungary, known for its enthralling atmosphere. It is the home ground of the top-class handball club Telekom Veszprém KC, that regularly host the best teams of Europe. The city has a first division women's handball club as well, which played in the Veszprém Aréna until 2011; but thanks to its field dimensions, the arena is able to host any sort of sporting or cultural events, such as basketball or volleyball matches, martial arts shows, concerts, exhibitions and conferences. Veszprém
Veszprém (; german: Weißbrunn, sl, Belomost) is one of the oldest urban areas in Hungary, and a city with county rights. It lies approximately north of the Lake Balaton. Našice
Našice () is a town in eastern Croatia, located on the northern slopes of the Krndija mountain in eastern Slavonia, 51 km southwest of regional hub Osijek. Administratively it belongs to Osijek-Baranja County. Geography Našice is located on the D2 state road Varaždin– Virovitica–Našice–Osijek and the Varaždin–Dalj railway. Rukometni klub Nexe Našice ( en, Nexe Našice Handball Club), commonly referred to as RK Nexe Našice or simply Nexe, is a handball club from Našice, Croatia. Currently, RK Nexe competes in the Premijer liga and Croatian Handball Cup as well in the SEHA League and in the EHF European League. The Arena Zagreb is a multi-purpose indoor arena located in Zagreb, Croatia.
