2015–16 SEHA League
The 2015–16 season is the fifth season of the SEHA (South East Handball Association) League and second under the sponsorship of the Russian oil and gas company Gazprom. Ten teams from seven countries (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, Hungary, Slovakia, Serbia and Belarus) will participate in this year's competition. MVM Veszprém are the defending champions. The SEHA League consists of two phases – the first has 18 rounds in which all teams play one home and one away game against each other. After that the four best ranked clubs play the Final Four. The campaign began on 1 September 2015 with the match between the defending champions Veszprém and last year's runner-up Meshkov Brest. The regular season will end on 13 March 2016, while the Final Four tournament will be held in Varaždin from 1 to 3 April 2016. Momir Ilić
Momir Ilić (; born 22 December 1981) is a Serbian former handball player. He became the first player in the history of the EHF Champions League to score over 100 goals in three consecutive seasons. Currently he is the head coach of Telekom Veszprém. Club career After spending two seasons with Fidelinka, Ilić would go on to play for Gorenje Velenje (2004–2006), VfL Gummersbach (2006–2009), THW Kiel (2009–2013), and Telekom Veszprém (2013–2019). He won two EHF Champions League titles with THW Kiel in 2010 and 2012. International career At international level, Ilić represented Serbia and Montenegro at the 2006 European Championship. He would later play for Serbia in seven major tournaments, winning the silver medal at the 2012 European Championship. Skopje
Skopje ( , , ; mk, Скопје ; sq, Shkup) is the capital and largest city of North Macedonia. It is the country's political, cultural, economic, and academic centre. The territory of Skopje has been inhabited since at least 4000 BC; remains of Neolithic settlements have been found within the old Kale Fortress that overlooks the modern city centre. Veszprém Aréna
Veszprém Aréna is an indoor sports and events hall in Veszprém, Hungary, known for its enthralling atmosphere. It is the home ground of the top-class handball club Telekom Veszprém KC, that regularly host the best teams of Europe. The city has a first division women's handball club as well, which played in the Veszprém Aréna until 2011; but thanks to its field dimensions, the arena is able to host any sort of sporting or cultural events, such as basketball or volleyball matches, martial arts shows, concerts, exhibitions and conferences. It also has a separated lounge, that is capable alone to organize smaller events, be it a party night or a wedding. History The constructions of the Veszprém Aréna began in June 2007, based on the adapted plans of Zlatorog Arena.
